Graphic Style Options

Options are on the Options tab of the selected graphic style. They control the image file ePublisher generates, so their effect is baked into the bitmap the PDF embeds.

Scale %

A percentage of the image's original size. ePublisher resamples the bitmap at generation time, so the generated file itself is smaller: a 600 x 400 image with Scale % set to 20 is written as a 120 x 80 bitmap, and 120 x 80 is the resolution embedded in the PDF. The aspect ratio of each image is preserved. The default is None.

Format

The graphic file format ePublisher generates for images with this style, such as JPG or PNG.

Output file extension

The file extension used for the generated image file. Specify a value that corresponds to the Format option, such as .jpg or .png.
